OpticalOnline Remote RX Ordering Instructions:

Must Use Internet Explorer(firefox and other browsers not supported)

These are the instructions to install the OpticalOnline Remote RX Ordering software. If you have any questions

Hardware Requirements

Windows 2000, XP or Vista,
Pentium 166 or faster,
Minimum 48 Mb RAM
If you do not have all of the above, please do not proceed with the following instructions.
Install the Software

Ensure you are connected to the Internet - the software will not work without an Internet connection.
1. To navigate to the software installation page from our Home page left click the option under the
Downloads tab called OpticalOnline Installation or click here

2. Left click the link Launch OpticalOnline to install the software. This link will install the software and
automatically update it each time it is restarted. Accept each step of the installation as presented including the
license agreement. Do not make any changes.

3. Once the installation is complete, the OpticalOnline software will automatically start.

4. The software requires a Username and Password. When prompted either use the Username and Password
provided by your lab or use the demonstration password: Username = 007015 and Password = test and left
click the Login button.

5. Enter a patient's name and select No Trace as the Trace File Option

6. Continue to enter a complete Rx order.
